A good weekend unfortunately spoilt by the shuttle bus which failed to go past my hotel as stated; Sat outside for 2hrs but nothing turned up so had to ride back; A very dry experience, I hate being the only one sober at a party;

Hello,
Friends of us from New Forest chapter invited us to come to the SOFER this year, as it was supposed to be a good rally;
So we were a group of 6 Dutch (me, my husband, my dad and 3 friends) and 1 American; We had a great trip comming and going (South of England is lovely to cruise around, especially if the weather is like it was this weekend) and great time at the SOFER; Nice being outside, but still close to the band; Especially with Friday evenings band!! My dad especailly loved Saturday evenings band indoors;all music from "his time" and we joined him for the fun! Very special, expecially with meeting our good friends Helen & Darryl, Mike & Lisa, Carwyn & Jane (love you all!!!) and all the other people that we met a few times before!!! So YES, it is a very good rally;
I will put in a good word for your rally with our other chapter members and other friends in Belgium and Holland; Definitly a good rally to go to!!

1st UK rally since joining the C&F chapter last year and since relocating from Switzerland 3 years ago; Great experience, great venue, friendly crowd & superb ambiance : we will definitely be back next year but stay overnight to enjoy the fireworks  ;
